Invest in your own piece of history
Pavés de Paris®, Pavés de Lyon®, Pavés de Versailles® reclaimed 19th century setts : These thin paving stones, known as ‘paving stone heads’, have a naturally weathered and rounded top surface, like whole paving stones, but the underside of the stone has been sawn off. We saw these stones from whole paving stones to retain only the head of the stone: the old part.
When a concrete slab already exists, we no longer have to demolish it to lay a full 14 cm thick paving stone, but can use thin paving stone heads measuring 2 to 5 cm thick and lay them with mortar.
This will save you money: no demolition, you will save time on installation and you will preserve the charm of the old! What’s more, you can choose how to lay them: with the weathered, old-looking side facing up or the sawn side facing up, ideal for paving a footpath or terrace.
