Lyon® sawn granite paving stones
Invest in your own piece of history
By sawing these old Lyon® paving stones, we create a perfectly flat surface for disabled access, as well as providing comfort for pedestrians.
There are many possible projects: terraces with sawn paving stones, floor patterns with lines of sawn paving stones, gutters with three rows of sawn paving stones.
The combination of rounded paving stones and sawn paving stones is a success: it creates a contemporary and modern look while retaining the charm of the old.
These old paving stones are sawn in different thicknesses to suit each project :
- Thickness of 2 to 5 cm: for pedestrian walkways and terraces. When a concrete slab already exists, we can keep it in place by using thin paving stones with a thickness of 2 to 5 cm.
There is no need to demolish the concrete slab to lay a 14 cm thick paving stone. With thin paving stones measuring 2 to 5 cm, you save money, save time and preserve the charm of the old! Choice of installation: the visible side with a patinated, antique finish or the sawn side. - Thickness of 6 to 8 cm: for areas with moderate traffic, pedestrian streets or car parks. Choice of installation: the visible side with a patinated, antique finish or a sawn top.
- Thickness of 9 to 11 cm: for areas that are accessible to vehicles, trafficable and/or requiring greater resistance. Installation is only possible with the top surface sawn.

When the paving stone is sawn, we keep the top of the stone in order to offer paving stones with a lower thickness of between 2 and 5 cm. We also offer whole Lyon paving stones in various sizes: 14x14x14 cm – 14x20x14 cm and 18x18x18 cm.
